Patti's deli is where I go for fresh, well prepared seafood, as do all the smart local's. My grandfather was a local Snapper fisherman, and my family all grew up on seafood, including me, so I'm a pretty good judge of what's good... everything served at Patti's deli is great! When I go there, I get the mullet basket, with cheese grits and hush puppies, mmm mmm good! My dad's birthday is today, so I called in an order for him using Yahoo to find the number, and decided to leave a review myself. I have never, ever, ever been disappointed with the food or the service at Patti's Deli. BEST PLACE IN TOWN TO EAT! if you want real fresh seafood that's cooked right! can't recommend this place enough. I have eaten the gumbo here for
years and I always come back for more whenever I'm in town. When I was
in high school my gf worked here and would bring me some about once a
week. Every time I eat here I order fish, shrimp and gumbo. There
isn't a platter that comes with all three (there should be) so I have
to make my own.
I'm writing this review back in my new home of
Ga. and I'm a little sad right now because I know it will be a while
before I'm back in P'cola and can get me some more gumbo. Even worse,
I was there just yesterday and didn't have a way to buy a half gallon
that I could put on ice for my drive home. :(

"Went to the Joey Patti's on Nine Mile today. Great, Great Great. Hushpuppies were wonderful and they were running a special; Manhattan Clam Chowder along with their regular New England Clam Chowder. It was just fabulous with just a touch of tasty spiciness. Lots of Clams. Also had the Special of King Mackeral which turned out great. The whole meal was fabulous, and the prices were really a good value; and the portions large. I could not eat it all and took some home. I will definitely be back!"

this was such a fun place.....packed to the walls........not fancy but good food served with southern hospitality....the grouper was amazing...for us new jersey folk to be eating hush puppies was a real treat...great prices......loved it

This is a casual little seafood place. Not fancy at all, just good food. The seafood comes right off their boat so it is as fresh as it gets. The prices are very reasonable. They are famous for their hush puppies and they should be. The best I have ever eaten. Perfectly cooked with a light crust, slightly sweet with chopped onions and celery. You will be comfortable in shorts there. The people are very friendly. You just can't go wrong with this place."
